Hi All,
Anyone know of decent green-laning opportunities near Lewes?
Thanks in advance.

Hi AJL,
I stay not far from Lewes also and have done some green-laning on enduro bikes in the area (albeit briefly) but that was up past Uckfield way. I've also done quite a bit of mountain biking.
I think that there is some 4x4 green-laning up at the back of Stanmer/Falmer way but as I'm relatively new to the area and still work overseas, I haven't had much opportunity to go explore.
I'll wait to see if anybody else in the area can enlighten us, as I wouldn't mind going when (and if!) I can get back home in the coming months, as I've been stuck here in the Congo since the Coronavirus outbreak!!2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey (UK)

Join GLASS and get in touch with the rep for Sussex...
GLASS = Green Lane Association. Your subs go a long way to fight the battle to keep lanes open, access to Trailwise 2 (online maps) which is a goldmine and regular updates and newsletters.
Trust me, joining GLASS will save you a lot of hassle and potential hefty fines for illegal use etc Visitor from fullfatrr.com

Thanks very much CongoBoy (do they still drink Umbongo there?), good luck with getting back. If it makes you feel any better it's chucking it down here now!
And also thank you DrRobH, I shall look to join GLASS now.
Have invested in some Pd1881's + BFG KO2's (tyres from AJS) and would like to trial them out sooner rather than later.

Very nice composite rims and tyres!
I put these on mine last year and have yet to give them a proper workout.

Cracking photo - did you opt for 265/60's or 265/65's? - can't quite make out?

I went for the 265/60's, although I have the 265/65's on my African Disco.
IIRC at the time, these were £60 cheaper than the 265/65's per tyre!
The SE 18' inch rims I bought off a member in the forum and got them powder-coated.2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey (UK)
