one could replace it with the correct resistance (assuming it is a PT100 or similar) not grounding it directly (because this would trigger a sensor fault) but using the correct resistance to give 5dC outside temperature triggering the webasto to pump up to the coolant temperature up to 70 dC, which will give a nice warmth interior heating.
@prette
I allready answered that.........

The temp function on the FBH for auxillary heating is overruled or ruled out by the LR software on the CAN-bus.
since the Webasto Standard software is altered, changing other caracteristiscs like a different temp sensor with higher temp for auxillary heating (tempsensor which itself is a simple earth switch on/off) will not work... on these LR’s
No go. For continuous use... Since the aircon system Measures the temp... and depends on those measurements for other Obvious reasons
But to be honest... this is a topic hijack..
Better start a own/new one imho.. Best regards

Sorry to mention, BUT you only asked how the cable layout Should be... and that “it” was not working at all... cable or webasto unit?
I do not read, what Or if there is a problem with your Webasto..
So untill now.... no codes, no problem
Did you test it with cold engine and below 6 degrees celcius??
What software do you use? Best regards
