That wouldn't stop a very small bird's pecker from rising, let alone a TDV6 crank.
Your cam locking tool kit should have the crank tool within it!yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

I am sure that the tool with the kit may be all I need, just confused a bit by this section in the repair manual where to remove the crankshaft timing pulley they indicate that you remove the timing tool and insert the crankshaft locking tool…

3031117 is all you need, and it will lock the flywheel to enable removal and refit of the crank bolt.
