I was reading the thread about theft of Disco rear lights. I thought it would be interesting to see what other theft they suffer from.
I found this on a Google search. Theft of Landrovers by keyless entry. The story is not new but still relevant.

For around £10 a Faraday bag/box may be worthwhile purchase. Available on Amazon and other sources. Also keep your keys away from entry doors, to try and prevent signal relay.
Not a question as such, but it would be useful to know of other vulnerabilities. I guess CAT's are a prime target. Leave your suspension down is a deterrent.

Hi Motor,
Useful reminder.
If you do a search on this forum you will also find that keyless entry has been discussed and a way of disabling this feature posted - need to go to page 5:

"keyless entry has been discussed"
Thanks. You are right, another well covered issue.
I think security is like insurance, essential up to a point but of little interest beyond that - until you find that a modest spend could have avoided great inconvenience or cost.
There are some very helpful security related posts, if you search. I wonder if they merit a separate section.
