Well I'm going to throw a spanner in the works.
One place refused to do my alignment on the old tyres, then the next place said it didn't matter as they align off the wheels.
Now that was 22k ago and my new tyres fitted a week after the alignment are wearing true. Just remember:-

So TTM has to be done using a code reader with the TTM function and can’t be done without one, correct.
Also if alignment is done without putting the car into TTM how big a difference will it make.

If the tyres are evenly worn across the whole of the tread , I would say it won't materially affect the alignment. But, if uneven, especially with one edge worn away, it will affect the alignment as it will preload the bushes as the wheel tries to tilt. When I was in USA the dealer there would not adjust my D3 with rear tyres worn on inside edge, caused by wheel alignment out.
