Thank you for the digging and responses M3bobby, but after reading what you wrote and digesting, I think this is way above my capability, so I will just stick with "bursts" on my seats

Trust me when I say it's not.
The hardest thing would be finding the terminal pins although land rover do pig tails that you solder your wire onto.
I assume you've fitted these seats so you know how to fit and remove them.
All you need to do is find the solder joints, the earth and a pin on the SRS connector. I can talk you through it. You could just do the 2 BUS wires to the solder joints and that should fix the bursts.

Chris,
Been a bit busy but I should get some time to try this out soon (and I’ve still got some kick plate panels out ) after picking up my HSE seats in cheshire this week 8).
I’ll get some pics before starting as all these seats defo have SRS so think the other connector block is for another module ...
Do you still need that FCDIM Part # while I’m at it

Hi Nick, all good for the FCDIM pt no. I fitted the same FCDIM as yours and a matching IAM but can’t get it to work for some reason. I’m wondering if it’s because I’ve got Dual View so may need to change CCF to disable DV. If I can get it to work then it gets me started on the BSM and water wading.

Ok, Mrs out for the day so tread revival time
Firstly apologies - had wrong pic of old seat block - our GS /XS models obviously do have SRS purple connector but no brown memory connector:

So all we need is female pins to go into the block connector block that runs off the body harness.
I found a couple of connectors from a handy old dash loom and inserted into the main loom block (highlighted in red)

Then I routed those 2 new wires all the way round to the RH A Pillar - I assume I can splice into one of these blocks - guidance needed please

Will get that done and then report back - I need to find a door memory module and silver backing plate if all goes to plan Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

Nick, Is that the wires from the brown connector?
If you go back to page 1, the wires for the brown connector go to solder joints in the harness along the right sill.

Cheers Chris,
Yes from brown connector. So if I pick up the yellow/white and yellow/blue on the main harness I should OK to splice my wires into the soldered joints on that
I know I should know better but how will I know which will be Pin 1 and Pin 2 from the new cables I've put in Don't want to get them the wrong way round!

I’ll have a look tonight and see which pin in No. 1 it would normally say on the connector which is which.

Ok, if you find the yellow white in the brown connector, that needs to connect to Solder Joint SJ 2000 and yellow blue needs to connect to SJ2001.

Cheers -
I think SJ2000 and SJ2001 should be fairly easy to spot on that loom
Did diagram show any intel on pin numbers (I heaven't had time yet to open up main harness block again but will look at brown connector on my HSE seat shortly to see if that gives any clues
edit #1 - see pic below - Numbers #13 and #14 go to the brown so are we saying #13 = 1 and #14 =2 just to be sure
edit #2
see wiring diagram - yes Pin #13 =1 and Pin #14=2
edit #3
and this backs up info posted onPage 1:
Quote:
Pin 1 Yellow White on C0751 connects to pin 13 of C2368
Pin 2 Yellow Blue to C0751 connects to pin 14 of C2368
Connector C2368 pin 13 runs to Solder Joint SJ2000
Connector C2368 pin 14 runs to SJ2001
So now just need some time to get this done ............

That would be great
Its currently half way through having the body taken off and engine stripped to find the exact cause. I am liable for this bit, unless the warranty company agree to pay the claim
But stripping it to determine cause is standard practice apparently. Think it will be a few weeks until I know for sure.
