Only answer to jet lag is to power on through until it’s bedtime.
When I went to Thailand in November last year (Cattle class) we landed in Bangkok at 7am local. 2 hr taxi ride to hotel. Dropped bags in reception. Got golf clubs out and went straight to local course for 18 holes, followed by a couple of beers and a meal.

That’s called getting yer money’s worth.
We should be fine getting to sleep tonight, it’s free flowing cocktails 6 - 8pm.
Then might have a wander around outside.

I see that you are slumming it again Derek
Have a great time bud
I now know its worth hitching the trailer up for my trip North i know where a good supply of logs is located
If the cocktails are anything like your Sahara Gins then sleep will not be a problem Its not the height of the fall but the sudden stop at the bottom that hurts!!

Cheers. In more ways than one.
You know me, still trying to beat the desert strength G&T in the Sandy front garden in Tunisia experience. Happy days indeed.
And leave those logs alone. Their mine I tell ya, mine!!

I like it, you should have seen SWMBO’s face when she tried it, she’s NOT a fan.
PS Thanks for the “recommendation”, now on second.

Very. Unfortunately plan for light breakie didn’t stand up to the barrage of goodies on the buffet table. Cheese, tomatoes & onion (can still taste them) baguette followed by three mini pastries.
Short walk then to work some of it off, and feel the heat & humidity.
Couple of pics.
Not sure we’ll be eating here

And now that’s what I call a happy hour.

Few pics from today’s foray out into 29C heat. Just to figure out buses & MRT, plus get transport card topped up.
Now I happily admit I’m not good with heights but this was triggering a bit of vertigo and I was still only at ground level. SWMBO’s not looking forward to trying out the pool later in the SG stay.
