Sorry DG, they let us in.
Just had a room booked in the airport hotel so no dragging our knackered ar$es into central Singapore. We’d forgotten how knackering long haul flying is. All tucked up in bed, nicely asleep hoping to sleep through, then my mum texts to say “I see you got there”. Now admitted defeat and made some tea (coffee machine is not playing), Beeb WS on TV and see what’s happening in the world.
Gratuitous pic from flight.

Oh, and re flight, the one time SWMBO checked where we were mid flight she wasn’t happy seeing we were above the middle of Afghanistan.

Just had two hours “out like a light” sleep and now feeling thoroughly yuck, body hasn’t a clue what time it is just that it’s toasty outside and AC is officially the best invention ever. As to whether body thinks the above is breakfast or lunch or midnight snack, it neither knows nor cares. Sleep deprivation combined with jet lag should be classed as torture!!

Very. Just got to get SWMBO trained with the appropriate amount of pinkie waving when she’s schwigging her tea. Plus it would be useful if she didn’t pour half of it over the table when refilling her cup.

Well coz it’s hot we don’t need a rad. I know that’s way behind the curve but hey ho, it’s a triganometrically imperfect world.

We haven’t flown that distance for well over 20 years, now we remember why.
We’ve decided all long distance flights will be business class from now on. “Premium”/prem econ is OK but SWMBO would like me to get more beauty sleep.
As for being paid, that implies work needs to be done, an alien concept.

That’s very expensive for a seat! At least you had a view out the window.
Deffo glad we weren’t in the back of the plane, those seats were tiny. Obviously lots of very skinny and short peeps in Norway.
