Rear bumper repair - any good bodyshops in Kent |
|
A French driver managed to scuff my rear bumper and I now need some new paint. Does anyone have any suggestions in terms of good bodyshops in Kent. A small amount of paint has been scuffed off in two places but there is no other damage and I don't fancy a smart repair. Beadles advertise fixed cost repairs on their site but of course when asked don't appear to know this, even when sent a link to the relevant page!

Hi
My rear bumper had paint scraped off it in when someone bumped into the back corner at very low speed. I took it to Barretts in Canterbury body shop who made a good job. They called it a smart repair though. It was only a little more than a local smart repair centre. I've used them a couple of times.
I know this is some way away from you in Orpington.
Cheers Gary

Goldsmiths coach works.
Elliot road.
Bromley.
My daughters car went in for an accident repair. Really pleased with the outcome.
Then my wife reversed the D3's tow are into it (and blamed me) they also repaired this and very reasonable with the cost. Said £40 if they can pop it out or £250 if needs filling and painting.
Only charged £40
Might be worth giving them a call.

Give Duncan a ring from Altered images in Strood.... Duncan owns the company, is a proper automotive body repair shop and owns a D3... he has repaired several forum members vehicles over the years including mine and is excellent! He is also incredibly reasonable!
Gets my vote...wouldn’t take my cars anywhere else!

Thx for the responses. I'll investigate and get it repaired. To make any readers chuckle at usual main dealer idiocy, the link below is the service Beadles claim to offer. Sadly their bodyshop and service teams in Sidcup know nothing. It's not as if the info is hidden away:
