Will do the lock tues or weds
Also see you’ve got to push a clip whilst pulling the glass upwards , as it’s just me I’m thinking of taping up the window then pushing the clip back whilst using the window switch to lower the clip on its runner and away from the glass
Hopefully that will work
Rang dealership and said no probs getting it in for the restest , last day is 3rd August
They did also pass a comment saying the couldn’t open the door either from the inside , I said I’m not surprised the childlocks are on

This is going to sound nuts , no change there then
How difficult is it to remove that back door please and are they very heavy
As it’s so hot was pondering with the idea of removing the door, can then lay it down on my bench where there’s a nice fan and can plod along and turn the door to make life easier and not being in the sun
Or is it a sod to get the door loom out , yeh i know take some meds
Can easily lay a sheet over the car with the door removed and that side is parked pointing towards the house
Thks again

Do it in place.
Tape the window in place. Unclip and use the window switch to drop the window. Found the rears easier to replace then the front.

Many thks PJM and Pete
Don’t worry , do listen to advice from more experienced members
Great , ref using the window switch, as I wondering if that would work
Also wondering I’ve got a garden large umbrella so maybe put that over and maybe start 7-8am
Getting those clips out from the external door handle look fun, will just take my time
Thanks so much once again and as always most appreciated
