Gone on a recovery truck
After spending the weekend doing maintenance on my disco no surprise there than . The car decided it would go on strike .
So off to the garage as it's doing me head in , fault list
1 no fuel to shrader valve - suspect lpfp or wiring
2 suspect nsr w/ bearing ( haven't the time or tools to do it )
3 the original fault wheel alignment
One fault ends up being three just waiting for the "tut tut " phone call
Let you know the out come using a new garage as they were recommended and seem pretty genned up on Landrover
All transmission oil replaced
3 flash indicators
All timing belts changed
EPB serviced
De cat fitted
Wind deflectors
De-tango done
Tints fitted

Well got my disco back today new lpfp fitted costing £360 + vat + fitting
When the fitter was doing the job he rang me to ask if I had the tank off before no why
Someone had trapped the epb release cable in the tank mounting and some of the bolts were missing meaning the tank was waiting for accident and a heat shied was also trapped in there so well pleased it's all sorted
Goes in next thurs for rear wheel bearings new discs and new brake and clutch fluid
So that's all my planned maintenance done barring new anti freeze which I will do in July at next service
Here back on the drive looking nice after a bath

Don't know about a bath, but it will certainly get a shower this weekend looking at the forecast. Glad it's back where it belongs!

Whenever I bath ours I swear I could summon rain in the sahara. I wash it using a DI tank so I don't get any mineral spots & when she's dry she looks lovely, within a few hours dirt filled rain appears from somewhere & i'm back to square one. Grr
Still, it's the weekend & the red is tasting smooth
