....so I bought a Disco3
Long time lurker. Looking for a V8.
Found one on eBay.
Now back in Ireland. 05. Ex dealer demo. SE Spec but has nav, triple sunroofs, privacy glass, heated front and rear seats, rear parking sensors. 134k on the clock. £6,700 which I am very happy with.
Had it NCT'd overe here (much tougher than MOT). No problems passing. Expensive first service as replaced all collant pipes and the drive shaft.
...now for the bad part. The road tax on a 4.4l V8 is...........€1,809 per year.
Car has changed my life. Bought a Nissan Leaf too....

Ouch thats a lot to tax, given that it's most likely cleaner than a diesel and your already paying more duty based on the fuel you will use. It's almost like they want us to all have Hybrids 2008 TDV6 HSE
1986 90 CSW V8
1983 Series 3
