Parts listed below - CHECK against your specific VIN with your dealer or Nick@ Yeovil before ordering, some bezels are available pre-painted. Also you only need one of the wiring looms, depending on whether you have (or want) front fogs fitted
Quote:
2 YDB500310PMA SENSOR - PARKING AID SYSTEM, BLACK, 90 º, FRONT OUTER
2 YDB500311LML SENSOR - PARKING AID SYSTEM, 90 º, FRONT INNER, PAINT TO SUIT
EITHER 1 YMQ500772 WIRE ASSY, LOCATED IN FRONT BUMPER, WITH FRONT PARKING AID, WITH FRONT FOG LAMPS
OR 1 YMQ500752 WIRE ASSY, LOCATED IN FRONT BUMPER, WITH FRONT PARKING AID, LESS FRONT FOG LAMPS
1 VTJ500080PMA BEZEL, BLACK, RH, FRONT OUTER
1 VTJ500090PMA BEZEL, BLACK, LH, FRONT OUTER
2 VTJ500070LML BEZEL, PRIMED, FRONT INNER, PAINT TO SUIT

Note that the front PDC is not plug-and-play, it will need activating either by an Autologic equipped independent (like me Whistle ) or a dealer that is able / prepared to do it for you

I would strongly suggest ordering from Nick @ Yeovil as you'll get all the bits right first time and he'll be able to let you have any pre-colour coded options based on your VIN - as well as saving a few ££'s in the process 8)

for Irish members, you might want to check this thread for an 'activation date' ... http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic16925.html Wink

Thanks TFC -

Thumbs Up

I will definitely be looking into getting this done. Just a question of when!

Thanks Iain Bow down Thumbs Up

You're a star....just another question or two and I'll leave you in peace Whistle

Assuming that I already have front fog lights, I guess I just need to order the following loom (YMQ500772 WIRE ASSY). Does this new loom simply replace the existing loom for the fog lights (the new one will obviously contain the wiring for the fog lights and the PDC sensors)

Is the PCL / PMA / LML the colour reference? I'm guessing that this suffix would change based upon the colour (i.e. unpainted or painted etc)

I'll get in touch with Nick tomorrow to see what he says Thumbs Up

Thanks again!

Hi Paul, yep, the loom is a direct replacement for your existing 'front fogs only' loom
The three letter code appears to be the colour or finish code, if there isn't one available for 'Buckingham black' Nick might be able to get them sprayed for you or sell you a can of touch-up spray Wink

note that vehicles before VIN 5A328701 have different part numbers for the outer bezels

Thanks 10forcash booked in disco for front parking sensors to be fitted next week at a cost of £165 for parts and £300 labour which that is to paint the bezels too.
The dealer has not done this before so i had to print off the info form this site just to prove that it can be done as the dealer said can not be done don,t know how.
I don,t think that the cost was to high as my wife finds it very had to park and work out how much more forward she needs to go. Laughing

Shocked That is pretty steep, nice to have it properly integrated but you could buy an aftermarket 4 sensor kit for around £30 and fit it via a dash switch. Just my 2p worth.

Not sure dealers are able to activate front PDC without an engineering code from LR....

Sorry, i am confused. You get all the information from TFC, who has done the job loads of times before.then decide to pay a dealer who hasent done the job before 165.00 quid more than TFC would have charged you to do it.

i know its your choice, but that just sounds wrong ?????

Front parking Sesnsors

Hi TFC just been reading about FPC. Do you still supply and fit them? I have an 06 s model with factory fitted rear PC, & front fogs. Buckingham blue although bumpers are not colour coded.
Not certain where you work from I'm in the midlands about 30 mile south of Birmingham.
If you still fit could you give me a price and about how long it woud take you.

Many thanks

10forcash is based out of Derby, but travels all over, so Midlands is not a problem.
Perhaps you need to PM him with the relevant details of your request and he can advise the best course of action. Although i am fairly certain it will involve a call to "The Large One" Wink

Cheers for a quick response Craig. Do I just click on PM associated with TFC? New to site and not used feature before.

10forcash thanks for the part number.
Two clarifications please:
1 - don't you also need the switch on the dashboard? I only have rear pdc fitted and that switch is currently a dummy. Is the connector for the switch already there?
2 - If you have front fog lamps fitted do you still need a new wire assy for front fog lamps and pdc?
thanks
