taillights Led

good morning, I have a 2005 disk 3 bought used and I have not working epb. I tried everything but I could not solve it. since the old owner has replaced the taillights with the LED ones should they affect the operation?

EPB is only the parking brake and is operated by the electronics when you pull up the lever and off again when you press the lever. If its not working it may be a fuse. If it makes a noise then it may be that it needs adjusting. More details required.

epb from error code with iidtool 1CA00 4B (FB).
I did overhaul the module changed the switch under the brake pedal and adjusted the shoes.nothing is changed on the display says "parking brake not working pull to insert" but nothing moves and the various procedures with iidtool and bending (?) do not work .lo switch has been checked and sends the right commands but epb does not move. It was a question "Was the "emergency" EPB brake release pulled at some time". There is a cable underneath the parking brake switch lever to release the EPB if it gets jammed and that is what I was referring to. May need a dealership to fix
