Red Battery light / Hidden menu readings

Left for work this morning and the red battery fault popped up half way through the journey

I’ve gone into the hidden menus and I’m getting these values

Engine off

Tick over

2k revs

I’ve been doing a lot of short journeys with everything turned on due to the cold weather, do we think it’s just needs a good charge or the battery / alternator is on its way out?

With the warning light on you can expect it to be, if it shorts it will take your battery out and in some cases causes fire. Take it seriously, look at Repairing now rather than later.

Exclamation ^^^ As Sputnix says, short journeys low battery doesn't normally give you a red charging light, suspect your alternator is on the way out and could take your battery with it! Shocked
