Snow increasingly less of a prospect for the South as the low is drifting into France in current computer models. But that could change tomorrow. Norther UK will probably get a battering though.
Don’t worry though as DSL will be putting old people in his wheelie bin and running them to hospital🤣6 LRs last one 2009 HSE D3.

Not any more, Skippy hasn’t got a handy tow hitch.
Plus our local hospital has closed and it’s a bit of a haul to the next closest one.

Oh mate , u mean no more wheelie bin snow pics
Things that won’t change is the lasses in Newcastle still going out wearing a belt in freezing conditions , hear there called winking belts that come with built in radio dial tuners,

Think the last time I saw a half decent amount of snow was in 2013 , near Dover and on the M26 ,
Saying that Never forget the first time I saw snow when I lived in Long Island New York , think that was 2003 , OMG now that is what u call proper snow , worst when after clearing the driveway is the snow ploughs coming back round and buying the drive exit yet again
Looks like Milwaukee are starting to get hit

Hope you’re out more than they are up here in the Heelands. We used to see trucks out gritting several time a day as we live on the approach road to the depot. Luckily now if we see one a day. It’s been snowing for the last couple hours, well forecast, and nothing. Nothing before, nothing during and nothing after. Usual boldocks on Highland Council and BAER’s website (BAER do trunk roads) about what they are supposed to do and how good they are, s’pose it’s lot easier to do a swanky website than actually get their ar5es out in the cold and actually do something useful.

Wrong type of snow ! A little bit here but it wasn't forecast until this afternoon anyway... loads more to come I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

the sky turned nasty around lunchtime and it looked like we might be getting "something" but it cleared and i'm guessing we'll see (just) a heavy frost .... but no sign of the gritters. In contrast, 20 mins down the East Lancs, around Haydock, gritters very much in evidence. Perhaps the Scousers kept money back for this, whereas Salford look determined to spend all the remaining 2023 budget on random road repairs.

Local traffic cam almost 20 mins ago. Glad we’re nicely tucked up in front of the log burner.
