Waiting patiently for the pics, or vid.
SWMBO was not particularly happy having to help stop the trailer heading for the river.
I don't want to think of her reaction had I stopped to get the camera out! Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

Mood wasn't great already as the 3 campervans that held us up for 30mins doing 10mph in convoy over the 'Mam' yesterday evening met us the other way when we were coming up it this morning.
They didn't want to pull into the passing place, that they were next to, or to the carriageway 30m back rather than me reverse DOWNHILL 300m with the large box trailer on the back.Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

Not quite under those conditions, me having right of way and car pulling passed the parked cars on his left coming the other way, I've found sitting stationary with arms crossed and hazards on has a way of getting them to reverse. Followed by him eventually reversing and me giving him a cheeky wave (or was it a Looser sign) on the way past.

Ended up they reversed a couple of metres to pull over to the left of the road and me to get into the passing place on the right...
Felt sorry for the locals who were starting to build up a line of cars behind them, after I'd been sitting there waiting for them to do SOMETHING.
There was loads of opportunity for me to pass them with no problem yesterday if they'd not taken a path blocking the whole carriageway. I assumed they were continentals yesterday but turns out they were a group from North England.
Thought 'Northerners' were supposed to be good road users?Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

Cairngorm snow
This time next year we will be up in Aviemore for some snowsports. Last night they had a bit of snow
This was taken today on one of the mountain roads to the base of the funicular railway after the snowblower had passed through. Hopefully will be the same this time next year when we go Previous Discos

No chancem of getting up there today. ^^^^^^^^^^. Blowing a hoolie and horizontal snow, bad enough to keep the ploughs grounded.

Loch Morlich looking nice and inviting, not. Reminds me of holibobs as youff staying in the caravan park. Few caravans & campers, along with at least 3 tents there today. Mad I tell ya, mad.

Nice scenic walk round Loch Slush Puppy Garton this morning, one of our dogs thought it was a good idea to try and walk on the ice.

Would have been far more interesting trying to take that pic today. Wind is settling down but it was wild this morning.
what is this "snow" you all speak of ? still got all in my neck of the woods.
we're aiming to go down to Devon next week … so it's bound to snow HERE then and be glorious in Devon.
(when I say "glorious" I probably mean "wet and miserable but snow free" ).

Right, we'll try this again. Uploaded without sound.
Seems it's perfectly OK to hos vids of IS nutcases chopping peeps' heads off but not me playing Supertramp in the background.

I’ve had some great snow in the north Lakes this week. I have been staying in the caravan at the quiet site near Ullswater.
Yesterday the Kirkstone pass got nasty, whilst I was in Ambleside. Had to come home the long way round because the pass was blocked by Audi’s and BMW’s 😉
It’s been a good year for snow, and I’ve not been skiing yet!
