Driving along the A515 Ashbourne to Buxton yesterday, return from Icefest. Driving my 2002 Def 90, towing large caravan.
No electronics meant I had to be extremely careful. The 90 was excellent at getting going and keeping going, using idle control and a very gentle clutch, with low range and diff lock in. Stopping however was very difficult!

Gareth, WTF was the bus doing in the first video? Did he try and reverse up the hill? Cheers Ian

I was going to post that my little corner of Manchester was finally getting some snow... But in the time it took to find this thread the snow is turning to sleet. .

Iain, the bus was reversing because it had tried to get up the hill I was coming down and failed. I think the lorry had held back from attempting the hill.
Just driven back from Glasgow, M74 was very iffy around Abington. Problem for me was I was on my Jag, which is pretty useless in snow! Got it home ok.
