I used a large adjustable. I had to remove a couple of pully bolts to get them in due to the width of the spanner.
It was larger than the 32mm we had.
Sorry could not be more specific on size.
No worries. Currently away so will check when I get back.==================================

Well I never.
Two silver D3 V8s pulling away from the lights together today. The guy asked if mine was a V8 and gave me the thumbs up. Then I realised his was a V8 when he accelerated away

If I pull up at the lights in Hawkhurst and look left I always see a very nice Bonetti Grey V8 right opposite me

I did toy with going along to the meet near the Forest of Dean. I thought it would be a good weekend where SWMBO wouldn't want to come and I could then spend 5 to 6hrs each day MTBing around the FOD and having a few pints of recovery in the evening . Then I thought I was being selfish .
Also we have a VW California so would be the odd one out. I did suggest a roof tent for the Discovery and SWMBO just said no. Normally any hesitation in the response is accepted by me as a yes.

Looks good in white.
Have seen a couple of original VW campers the last few days, given that I used to have I had forgotten how small they are.==================================

Argh.... I forgot about the later TF.
Tiny, particularly when you have 2.5 dogs in there also. (Our two Boxers and a friend's Frenchie who stays with us sometimes). We sleep upstairs.

Well she disgraced herself today, had to be recovered from Morrisons forecourt.

Mind twas a close shave, driving to Morrisons I noticed the volt meter was reading a bit low thought I must check that, pulled into the service station and filled up and the wife got out a and went to pay and said I can smell burning!! Putting 2 and 2 together I got to alternator, so straight into the boot and grabs the fire extinguisher and gave it a blast of powder and disconnected the battery. Morrisons staff shut down the pumps and evacuated the place and called the fire brigade, who checked things over and said I had done the right thing.
Not the best place for an alternator fire, oh and did I mention the tanker that turned up in the middle of things.
