Got home from work tonight and noticed a damp patch under the D3, the driveway was dry so it stood out.
Got down and had a look underneath and it seemed to be wet on the tray under the gearbox.
Loosened the tray and some water spilled out, so started her up and let her warm up all the while checking for any sign of leaking.
Put heater on full (hot) and the dripping started from above the gearbox area and noticed if I turned of the heater the dripping lessened.
So jacked the car up and put her on axle stands started car and with heater on got underneath and looked for the leak, it was coming from above the gearbox out of a pipe sticking out about an inch from the side of the body, water was warm and clear so I’m thinking not from the coolant system.
The pipe seemed to be have been “nipped together” at the end.
Is this something to do with the air con? If so why is a lot of water coming out when the air cons not on.?
Is this normal? I’ve not had the air con on for a few weeks now. Never noticed it before and should I be worried.😳 Cheers Paul.

Cheers!
The odd thing about this is if you have gearbox tray off it seems to be pouring out so seems concerning.😂😂
