In fairness the diff oil is kept mixed up in the diff.
That's the only thing I can think off for having a shelf life.

Engine oil does go off though. I've known it to shrink bottles and stink of onions.

I thought BOT 720 was for the full fat RR

You're 'avin' a Turkish. What the Donald Duck? The 2 bottles of BOT 720 are different in style - 1 white (newer) and the other silver (older). The older one looks like this:

Whereas the newer one looks like:

Could someone please give me a clue.

Do you have an electric rear diff
I think that's what BOT is for if you google it.

X0 for front.

Only trouble is you are a little short if u have an Elec rear diff.
Or wri g stuff if u don't. OR WRONG STUFF IF U DON'T

Hi Pete,
I must confess I haven't yet climbed underneath to check Embarassed but I do have an invoice for the 5 year (75k miles) service when the car had cover 68k miles. The invoice list 2 litres of LR019727 which fits with the 75k e-diff oil schedule LR recommend.

My understanding is 1.6L from dry and 1.5L refill so the 2L I have should be fine.
Sorry, couldn't translate the last sentence Laughing
Thanks for the input.

You don't have 2 litres of the same oil though.

~0.4 litres of the silver one in the front
~1.5 litres of the white BOT in the rear, and you only have 1 litre of it, don't you?

Pete,
Sorry fella, posted the wrong photo and didn't really explain myself properly Embarassed Embarassed
The picture I posted (silver bottle) is for the SAF Carbon MOD Plus, I should have posted this

The BOT 720 is the replacement for the SAF Carbon MOD Plus, so I have 2 litres - albeit in different style bottles.
I've already bought 1L of the Castrol Syntrax Longlife for the front diff. So all should be well.
Sorry for the confusion.
