Hi looking for some help from fellow members in my area. I have purchased a EGR blanking kit which I intend to fit very soon, I believe once fitted I need to have to the EGR deleted from the ECU. Could any members do this for me or point me in the right direction as to who can do it for me at home (will pay obviously) thanks in advance

So I can just start driving once they have been fitted, I was on the understanding that this had to be deleted from ECU, maybe other members can confirm that for me SantaCruz not that I don't believe what your saying bud

depends what year your D3 is. Older ones need nothing doing apart from blank EGRs and revove buterfly from air intake. I think in was post 07 D3's that need some electrickery as well.

You can blank them on any MY but after 2007 there'll be an engine fault light on the dash, which is an MOT failure.
To blank and put that light out you'll need the assistance of the relevant wizards. Mods:
Front Fogs + Halos
FBH Remote Control
The 1st Ever RRS Modded Grill
Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.
D4 Steering Wheel.
Rear Boot Spoiler.
Twin Brake Lights.
Wing Mirror Indicator Repeaters.
Long Roof Rails
Make your own Narpy grill thread
I'm not scared, I'm outta here.

I went through 2 MOT's with that light on the dash with no advisories before getting a software patch installed so it really is down to how your MOT station interprets the rules but as has been said, car should run fine so fit and see what happens, you might be lucky and not need anything more done.
