The Traffic on the TomTom works well in Europe too, tho the Data costs from Proximus are high
One niggle with tomtom is if you have more than one of them then you do need to register them under diffrent email adresses. I plugged in the 910 into my desktop and it registerd with my Rider account with TomTom and now I have lost some functions on my Rider, I can't swop them back over until the 910 is 6 months old
I put/semi installed my TT into the cubby hole. The window option was a pain putting it away each time I got out of the car and back up when I wanted to use it. The suction cup leaves a mark so scroats can see the presence of a nav aid.Did you think I would leave you crying,
When there's room in my D3 for 7,
Climb in here Joe we'll soon be flying,
I can go just as fast with 7.

Will give TMC a go as it is just a one off charge, can always change back later. I hope the TMC units they box with the newer 720T are the Mk III receiver (from http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic15437.h...tomtom+tmc ). GPRS on my O2 contract would be £3/meg (say that lasts a month) and £30 for Traffic subs, where the TMC receiver is £36 over the non TMC TomTom 720 (Halfrauds are doing the 720T for £290 with £10 voucher back and £40 accessory box) and that is for the life of the unit. Anyone any idea is the receiver wire can be hidden behind the A pillar and still work???

The 720T's will have the later receiver. Reception is something you'd have to experiment with but I don't think it will be possible to hide the wire antenna without damaging reception.Darren Griffin

Can you get the new TMC receiver for the older Go710 unit, it's not listed anywhere and I don't really need to buy a whole new unit.

I think he meant 'DSL Developments' i.e. the UK Retailer for Brodit Cradles and Mounting Solutions who supplied the TomTom cradle I reviewed in the link above!Darren Griffin

I think it is the same receiver. the 710 has the TMC socket on the windscreen mount. Expansys sell the receivers as an accessory.Darren Griffin
