Suspension Issues 'No surprise there '

Recently I have a few issues with the suspension deflating over a couple of days, its always risen back up promptly when the engine is started.
Then about 10 days ago after a minute or so after starting the amber suspension warning light started coming on with the warning message normal height only......
So I bit the bullet and ordered a iid tool, before I had a chance to use it, the red warning light came on and the front end dropped to the bump stops (max speed 30mph etc......)

After plugging in the iid tool, error code C1A20-64 Pressure increase too slow went filling reservoir.

Looking at the live values the compressor runs and the reservoir gets up to pressure and the compressor stops.

So from reading on the Forum there must be a leak and or the pump is failing (dryer desiccant?)

I have sprayed all the valve blocks compressor with soapy water and not found any leaks.

So next step remove fuse for suspension ECU to prevent self leveling, and leave over night to see if drops.

Yes it does, back no change, front down on the bump stops.

Right the question is would you suggest that the front valve block is knackered and leaking by, that is my thought as if one of the air bags was leaking it would drop on one corner only.

I will most likely order a pump repair kit any how.

From what you have said the front valve block sounds like s good place to start Thumbs Up

Situation so far, front valve block replaced, vehicle now no longer drops over night, air dryer and compressor repair kits fitted. Piston now much snugged fit in the the barrel.
Still getting the same effin fault message........
What pressure should the gallery be?
And where should I go next?

The compressor is most likely overheating and cutting out to protect itself

I burnt a compressor out, it turned out to be one of the airlines that leave the compressor and heads to the air tank, rubs on the park brake cable, and it eventually starts to leak, the compressor keeps
working to establish the pressure in the air tank and it eventually gets to hot and cuts out, and after a while it burns out



I purchased about $30 of push together air couplings and hose from a hydraulic shop and re plumbed it all Together and this fixed it!!

The gallery is showing 15 Bar when the compressor is running, I've been all along the pipe work from the compressor to the reservoir and no leaks.
Then the compressor cuts out the reservoir valve closes and the exhaust opens momentarily, the pressure the drops to almost nothing, as the pressure sensor is upstream of the reservoir valve I think.
could the pressure sensor be faulty?

Running out of hair to pull out.

Check the tank, get it out, test it with compressor connected and running.

Bit the bullet and bought a new compressor. I can now swap one out in about 30 mins now!

I bought mine from JGS 4x4. It was about £380 for a Dunlop direct replacement.
AP Factors sell them for a bit less but I ordered some other bits as well.
