New front lower camber bolt threaded

I purchased some Lower arms from advancedfactors which came with eurospare camber bolts. I put them on and tightened the front one to 275nm and when doing the rear front bolt, the nut threaded itself at about 240nm. The nut won't come off now so the bolt has to be cut off Evil or Very Mad

I'm using a new Teng tools 1/2" torque wrench to tighten them. Is 275nm the correct torque for these nuts? They are dry as well, no grease or oil on them.

I don't know the answer but that sounds a hell of a lot too tight - that is more than the centre hub to driveshaft nut torque!

It is very tight. I know they do need to be tight to prevent them from slipping out of place when you hit a pothole though. I got the 275nm off the forum but I may have misread it. Need to make sure before I try again with new bolts

Not much to add. I got the nut off by squeezing it tight with a vice grips luckily. The thread gave away on the bolt, nut was ok. Put new genuine bolts on and they tightened up to 275nm easily. Set the camber and toe and all is good.
