How careful cutting bushes from wishbones?
I've got both front lower wishbones off (genuine LR - failed after 2.5yrs) and am in the process of removing the bushes to put poly in.
How careful do I have to be at not putting any nicks into the arm when cutting out the bush?
Just it's a bit of a faff trying to cut through being very careful.Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

I just done the rear uppers, I had access to a 15 ton press and a heap of sockets to push them out.
I imagine your could impart a slight "flesh wound" but I wouldn't want much more than that.

As above. Not a huge amount of "extra" metal to support it, so the less damage, the betterMy D3 Build Thread

Nothing more than a 'small flesh wound' envisaged. Hopefully, not even that.
Thanks.Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto
