On a 7 year old D4? - cant see them rushing to help on that one
I'm hoping the Indy has already checked the manifold - fingers crossed
Not wanting to trivialise your issues here but thought I'd share this .
SWMBO took my D4 to the local hand car wash yesterday and when I drove it later it seemed a bit unresponsive ... needed a hefty press on the accelerator to get normal performance. I was just starting to think of how they'd got water in places it shouldn't get when I remembered she said they'd power-washed the rubber mats.
quick look this morning in daylight and lo-and-behold ... mats fitted wrong sides, rubber nicely tucked up behind pedal.
nice to have a simple and cost-free fix on a Disco !.

Thanks, but sadly not the case
Just had call with Indy - if it is Manifold, not showing, but going to keep overnight and test AM on the road under speed and load as cannot get fault to show up under testing in garage. Tested all other usual suspects (MAP / MAF sensors etc.)
Thanks for replies thus far fingers crossed that (a) they can diagnose and (b) it wont involve selling an organ to fix

As above. TSOV is a known issue, the actuator seizes up
At one point, JLR issued a low level repair, consisting of a new actuator. Now it seems you can only buy a complete new unit My D3 Build Thread
