I've got the exact same problem took my disco to have new brakes ( brakes pads and new disks fitted at a well known fitters after having a mot adversary saying they needed changing..
After the work was done i took her for a drive up the motorway sticking to the flow of traffic around 70mph . As i was driving along It suddenly felt like my wheels were going to fall off with bad shaking and juddering which was getting worse by the second... I pulled over on hard shoulder to find all 4 wheels with smoke pouring off them .. I 1st though maybe I was just driving too fast and the new brakes just needed bedding in so for the next week going to work i drove in the slow lane taking it as steady as possible . After I had done about 500 miles (a weeks commute) driving like I was in a reliant Robin I put my foot down a bit more and sure enough 10 mins of driving more than 70mph bad shaking ...i took it back to the garage where it was (fixed) they couldn't find any problems with the brakes as said the calipers weren't sticking but offered to try changing the pads to see if that will help but as it was a Sunday they couldn't do it as they didn't have any in stock. So arranged for it to be looked at again the following day after work.... Sorry if this is going on and on lol😶..

So monday morning driving 50mph with lorrys overtaking me I managed to get 10 miles down the motorway and started getting problems again so decided to take day off work and get it sorted . After the fitters spent a good hour head scratching they found the rear parking brake wasn't releasing properly and had worn the shoes away as they hadn't re set them properly but once again can't fix them today as they needed to get parts and will need the car for most of the day but said they will disable them so will be ok to drive. So arranged to sort at weekend as didn't want to lose more time at work. All seemed ok apart from a whirring sound which slowly got worse each day . Today on way to work started to get juddering again pulled off on services red hot brake discs again front and back driving up motorway not even using the brakes .

Gotta go back to garage for 4th time tommorow I think the problem with the brakes has now Censored the wheel bearings due to the excessive heat from whatever the brake problem is?? And in turn has warped the disks from the parking brake which in turn has caused me to fight to stay driving in a straight line as now wanders all over the road... help!!
