Warranty work
So popped the D4 into the dealers today for some minor warranty work. Rear two blinds won't stay shut, drivers side bonnet catch has a little play and rear upper tailgate is sometimes difficult to shut.
Outcome.... fixed bonnet catch and tailgate. Blinds - one fixed and one won't fix, so spoken to LR and require a new headlining! To be booked in once received.
Oh... and they drove it into someone else's car. Minor damage to mine, rear bumper slightly deformed on corner and paint flaked off, about the size of my thumb nail.
To be fair, very up front and honest and will fix it when it goes back for the headlining or sooner if I want (I will wait).
All in all, generally a positive experience. Now to wait for the headlining to arrive.Sill protection - LED internal lights - LED reverse lights - boot liner - Dog Guard - Rock sliders

What did they do to the upper tailgate?
My dealer has been unable to cure my upper tailgate.
I have adjusted the lower and upper tailgates, and this helped a little. But it is still a gamble as to whether the upper tailgate will close on first, second, or third bang!

Apart from them being upfront about the accident that seems to be the only good thing.
When a Toyota dealer crashed my dads car many years ago whilst servicing it, they parked it down the street and denied all knowledge. It was only thanks to someone at the Vauxhall garage opposite telling him what happened it got sorted out.
I hope they do a good job of the repair.Andy

No idea, think they've moved it slightly as the panel gaps are different. I need to have a good look tomorrow in the light, not had chance yet.
However it does work much better now.Sill protection - LED internal lights - LED reverse lights - boot liner - Dog Guard - Rock sliders
