Pillar A/B/C trim quality excessive movement |
|
Hi, my Mrs got Hyundai i10 and her fitting quality for Pillar A/B/C trim is very good indeed. There is no play neither side or when pulling, however on the other side can't say the same about my LR4 MY12.
It well could be normal, just don't have comparison car. All pillars A/B/C trim seem quite loose in comparison to my Mrs i10. Especially the B vertical Trim is moving quite freely and though cannot be pulled off just like that, but has very significant play when pulling so that is show the gap between the frame and trim where the belt is.
Was expecting better quality for lots of $$$.
Any excessive play in your pillars etc pls?
Thanks

Hi Bob,
what you are describing is curious.
In my D3 and in every other D4 I've been in, None have loose trim.
Is it actually clipped in at all ?

Sounds wrong to me - mine are rock solid, no movement

Update: all fixed now, new clips installed as previous owner was messing around with them with brute force
