Power steering going stiff after 20 miles or so

Hi, my power steering is ok for first 20 or so miles and then it starts stiffening up. There is plenty of fluid in it. Could it be a belt driving power steering pump or is it electric pump? Then after this I have to manually calibrate my transfer boxes ( roughly every third time). Is it related?
Every time I get in D3 I get quite excited at what new fault it will throw at me Banging Head
Any help much appreciated
 I have Landrover disease
10 Series Landys including 1948 Series 1 (all now gone)
A forward control 2b (ex bt)
A beige V8 County Defender (sold to a friend, now ex friend when he realised fuel consumption)
One Defender (sadly departed)
3 Disco 1's (all moved on to better places) 2 Disco TD5 both now departed
Currently D3 with facelift.

Lower steering uj. Mine did the same. It warmed up and got stiff. Fine when it was cold. Kinda weird. If it has tight spots when you turn the wheela its the lower steering uj.

Thanks. Thumbs Up
Is it easy to fit or do I have to pay someone?
