Painting brake calipers

Some help please guys.
I recently fitted new (to me) wheels to my D4 and I'm really pleased with them. They're the RRS style 12 wheels with 255/55/R20's and the ride has improved ten fold. I bought them in preference to the 10 split spoke wheels which I just couldn't be bothered to clean any more. The new ones are much easier to clean and show off the calipers much more so as ever, one job leads to another and thought of painting the calipers a nice bright red. 8)

Then I thought, hang on! This is an off roader and I may be looked upon as being a bit of a tart! Please can you help me. If anyone see's me heading towards Halfords can I ask that you stop me by any means in your control.
Thank you.

No colours anymore, I want them to turn black.

Black, now I'm sure I've seen a write up on that somewhere.

Only a bit? Whistle

Had thought about typing "and you're not already" but I don't know you and that comment may have been dis-respectful Whistle

Did mine with gloss black hammerite, also did the disc centres. They look brilliant with the gloss black wheels.
