Still available here.
Perhaps it's an area thing, get someone you know from a different area to try it?

Robbie wrote: Hit Tesco's and found some nice 5w30 C3 for £9 too, so purchased enough to be going on with. Also bought some redex, not something I normally used but at £2 a bottle I thought I would give it a run. They also had the trade tins of WD40 on the same offer, but I don't use the stuff.
After all the club vouchers were accounted for the final asking price melted away. Felt like I was stealing it:

SWMBO's just hit the mean shelves of Tesco Weybridge and cleared the shelf of the C3 stuff. Both 2l bottles!!

Please correct me, but I thought a D4 needs a C1 low ash oil to meet spec WSS-M2C934-B like Castrol Edge C1 etc
Not being able to see a bottle, does it have that spec, or is this for earlier non DPF D4 ?

Robbie wrote: Of course the purists will want C1 for the D4 (as per the book) for the lower SAPS, but I am yet to be convinced of that wisdom.

Ultimately it comes down to personal preference but (clearly) my preference is to avoid C1 where possible.
