I haven't got them on at the mo but they are still in good shape Russell
TBH I wouldn't say the finish was ever going to be 'showroom' but for an old set of wheels it's more than good enough

I came across this stuff when I was doing grill mods as a customers grill was sprayed with this stuff.
I honestly can't see how this has a place in a vehicle application. The finish was terrible and it all peeled off like peeling skin. Maybe what I witnessed hadn't been applied correctly, I don't know, but from that experience it lead me to think it was not the all singing and dancing paint solution it appears in the hype, in fact, it was actually quite crap.
Good luck with it.
Yep, you weren't applying it correctly. It actually finishes pretty well with practice, or just dumb luck. You need to be closer to the sprayed object than you might think. The orange peel effect is because the can was being held too far away. There are some good vids on the web. (The ones done by the dude next to the green car in the OP are the best; but read the comments sections as there's a lot more info). PAGODA

I didn't apply it in the first place.
I have never used the stuff and haven't claimed to have.
If you read my post correctly you will realise I didn't spray anything with this stuff and was merely given a grill that had been previously sprayed.Mods:

Well, the point of Plastidip is that it can be peeled away.
Sprayed my 2 sets of wheels(summer-Winter) 3-4 years ago, still holding up well and easy to touch up if you damage it.
