Any caravan more than 7 metres body length (now the debate will start) needs a tug over 3.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight - which rules out the Disco.
The only change in law I can remember regarding caravans in the last few years is that you can now tow a van upto 2.55 metres wide.

Having lived and toured inFrance for many years I am aware a lot of caravan sites do not welcome twin axle caravans especially certain makes that are associated with the Roma.

No, not if the body (excluding the A-frame exceeds 7m).

No need for a debate, because what you say is the law. End of.

I have a eterniti ib4, must say best van I've ever had yes they had some problems chassis etc but I've sorted everything on mine perfect now and tows unbelievable
Not anymore... the rules changed a couple of years ago...
You still need to to to be over 3.5t, not many cars weigh more than 3.5t, hence commercial.

We caravan with friends who are on their 2nd Hobby and never been turned away from a site yet. It is a fabulous van and I would get one like it myself apart from the fact it is not legal to tow in the UK. Build quality and design is great, the Hobby Premium range don't look like travellers vans either.

I looked at a Hobby Prestige (Stormtrooper front) and was quite taken with everything except the shower. There is a shower but it can't be used because the foil finish in the cubicle would just disintegrate. Hobby offer a curtain which uses suckers to attach to the ceiling and is effectively rubbish. The vans which came with a proper shower cubicle are too long to tow in the UK, despite what Hobby tell you!

We used to keep our Sterling down at a park at Wrotham hill Kent and the Dutch used to be there all the time with these amazing 'vans.... really a cut above from the UK 'vans imho...MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)
