How long does a battery in a D3 last when parked?
The D3 will be in an indoor garage (not heated), but wondering how long will the battery last before it dies. From mid January till mid February. for about a month and a week.
What has been your experience?
Thanks

Can't remember, just that it was 10 weeks. Just left my D3 for 6 weeks (mid Nov to end Dec) and it started on the button on Thursday. OK winter, as we get it, mix of mild & bit nippy.
That it's fully charged...when you park (C-Teked)
I would have thought would start the D3 when you get back
Put the suspension in low mode.
Make sure you have jump leads long enough to get to the D3 from a potential donor vehicle.....i.e. D3 reverse parked in.....nose outBREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.

D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

Our winters in NYC are not usually mild and nippy, but cold and freezing. LOL.

Good batt should be fine, follow BLF's advice. Plus double dib the lock button if at an airport to stop the alarm going off.

It's our rented indoor garage, not at an airport. I can't park it front out due to the way the garage is built. But I guess I can call AAA to have it jumped if needed it to.
I was just wondering how long the battery would last.
Thanks,

Trying to get the owners to put a live outlet before I leave so I can connect a battery tender to the battery.

Mine was on a ship for 3 weeks and then started 4 or 5 times in the port after that with no charge between them.

If you have to park nose in, and have a tow socket, get an adapter for the tow socket so you can at least supply enough power to unlock the doors, jump starting is no fun if you can't get the bonnet open
