I am looking around and speaking to a broker re car insurance. I have a multi car policy which is with a reputable company. Local brokers have suggested COVEA in Reading. I have not heard of them and reviews on the 'net are not that good. Their web site suggests that they are 5 star, the reviews suggest only 1 star. Has anybody used them or have any views?

£176 who is that with? I actually can't beat admiral on compare the market, my cheapest on there was with Halifax but by the time I added legal and because the monthly interest rate is bad it works out more

Just had my renewal come through from Admiral. 30yrs old, full no claims and its £490.
Ive a month until it expired. I will try all the usual suspects. I tried A Plan last year and the were so far off the mark. Will give them another go this year though.

Well I have got to give Axa a huge thumbs up for the last few years! Not only have they been the cheapest by a mile, but on renewal they have also been cheaper than the previous year, cheaper than any comparison site and not quibbled at all at the 4 genuine JLlR windscreens that they've had to fit to my 494 RRS at £1500 a time!
Excellent service and get my vote!
Unlike Admiral who are huge takers!

I agree,
More specialist companies may be better.
Green lanes may be covered as they are public highway's although not a Metalled surface.
A-Plan cover green lanes as do Flux.Andy.

I work in insurance and insurance companies change their risk pot regularly and different companies with target different risks. Insurance will be going up by about a third now due to the discount rate change. We've put on over £300m iin Reserves as a result and therefore this will come through in prices.
Just ensure you use a price comparison site for EVERY insurance you have to check prices.
