It's not "merlins blood" but it's the same thing. Iron remover by formula clean. I have to say very impressed. I had a lot of black deposits on my wheels which I couldn't shift with a wheel brush, sponge or power wash. This left on for 5 minutes cleaned them up nicely. This still a small speckling of the deposits on the wheels and I will give them another go next time I wash it.
I can't see any damage to the wheels. It did require a good blast with the power wash afterwards to get it all off and clean. D3 HSE TDV6 Auto. Bonatti Grey.

Fitted new rear propshaft today. So much quieter, no clunking (almost like a drive line play) when stop start and the drone above 70mph has reduced.
Thanks to Martin and to Bodsy for being on the end of the phone to answer stupid questions. D3 HSE TDV6 Auto. Bonatti Grey.

Day 6 of ownership of my D3.
Today my clear side repeaters turned up, so I fitted them and felt obliged to 'detango' my front indicators...
Pleasantly surprised how easy this car comes apart!
First side took about half an hour, second side took about 15 mins. Not a fun job, but gave me chance to clear out spider's nest from O/S sidelight
Used hot air gun approach to soften gooey black stuff. Tip: Used a scalpel / craft knife to cut the stretchy black goop as you're pulling the parts apart.
Anywho, car looks 10 times better without the orange

Replaced the ashtray and lighter console. Cant believe how much of a pain in the proverbial it is to get to, at least I can open my ashtray and the lighter flap stays up now.

Not so much today but the last week. Had a faultless 1700 mile drive to Sutherland and back.
The Disco had some discerning admirers when we got back from a walk
And the homemade load shelf and dog ramp worked a treat.
Gotta love it...
... the car and the scenery
