Testing my patience
Yesterday drove all the way upto Carlisle 125 miles pulled off motorway heard the dreaded grinding noise, rear pad down to the metal (Sod's law the sensor was on the inside pad which was not worn as much because of sticking slide pins apparently)
Obviously I am miles away from a decent garage I now but eventually after 1/2 a days work as well I found a very helpful garage in Carlisle centre who replaced pads.
On the way home around the shap area struggling to cope with the horrendous winds and driving rain I heard a bang next thing the external pillar trim by the windscreen popped off and was flapp No away in the wind, pulled over to try and refit getting absolutely drenched and nearly blown away by the passing trucks.
Quick fix only lasted a mile so had to go through risking life and limp again in the dark on the hard shoulder eventually ripped it off and drove the remaining 100 miles with the horrendous noise as if I'd left the window slightly down, seems to be a weekly issue to resolve at the minute if only had the car 3 months some of my own making or upgrading but mainly just consumables like lights, battery etc I'm dreading the day when something serious happens.

Spent 3 hours a piece modding my headlights...
I think it's been worth it!

Looks cracking that VeryDiscoJay Can I ask where you got your upgraded headlight/sidelight/indicator cluster units from?

They're made totally from the standard headlight. Had to dismantle it completely, spray it and wire in the LED lights. Big job but worth it AdamD98. I am willing to mod other headlights for people for a much smaller fee than the tuning/styling companies charge.Java Black Disco 3 TDV6 HSE with running boards, EGRs blanked, de-tango'd, fly eye tinted rear clusters...

Was faffing around and going to have a bash at re-splicing the wires for Remote Central Locking and the little jammed my thumb in the door.

One broken thumb later and another nail going to drop off

Bought a load of led bulbs for the D3 and fitted the interior bulbs and number plate bulbs today... Very happy with the results.
Just waiting for more to arrive so I can finish off with the exterior side lights etc
