For a change I managed to have a quick drive up to a local interest Obelisk.
Only had to contend with the nemesis of wet grass...

OSF lower arm replaced and wheel bearing in only 3 hours with no seized bolts... Snapped my long reach 24mm socket though so that will add to the pain of doing the NSF tomorrow...De-Tango

Lights but not on the Christmas Tree!
Took my Disco3 with the family over to Norfolk this weekend, some 300 miles from Devon, all well for the 1st 100 miles or so then the 3 dreaded lights, 'Suspension Failure' - normal height only, Park Brake Light failure and HDC, so all stopped pulled over, engine off and re start, all lights off apart from Suspension Failure, this sat as an Amber light so travelled on. Sat morning travelled to Thetford Forest and no lights at all! Sat off on Sunday back to Devon only to be met with the Suspension Failure light, some 50 miles into journey brake and HDC lights come on, so stopped turn off and back on, HDC and Brake light off and stayed off all way home.............any thoughts on this?

steveg63 it might be worth creating a separate thread for your issue - if you search for Christmas Tree there are a few threads which will give you a starter for 10. For me, a new battery sorted my Xmas Light issues out so its worth checking your battery charge in the first instance Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

Sorted my swollen nuts and did away with the locking ones at the same time. Also picked up some roof bars courtesy of Statetrooper99. Next stop some fresh rubber.

Changed over the compressor.
Much better and no fault coming up every time I drive it.

Changed all the bulbs in front
I lost in short time one xenon bulb and 5W bulb on the other side. So, decided to change them all when taking the mask off.
Bloody expensive xenon bulbs, I think. But the actual job to change, by far easiest compared to other cars owned. Once you got the idea. Now I'm happy, again

Bought myself an early Christmas gift and fitted it today, ARB RTT. Got the brackets from Eezi-Awn in South Africa (their K9 for the D3 / D4), great service by the way, and used the rails from the tent itself as they fitted well. Had other cross bars at first but decided to ditch them, this is perfect and strong enough, now anxious for next weekend so I can go camping....
