Chased last nights leaking sunroof, read up on this topic first. Very useful information! Got front headlining down, front passenger side blocked and causing the leak. Cleaned out all four drain valves anyway. Front passenger side one is a pain in the to get too! Tested and all back together again.54 D3 TDV6 AUTO HSE - Oct13 > Present

Naughty Monkeys
Took mine to longleats safari big mistake driving through the monkey area. They ripped the seals out of my roof bars but worse than that I filmed while they chewed and pulled out my heated screen washers.
Nothing would get them to budge.

Busy week. Had my 265 60 r18 Cooper Discoverer AT3s installed on the 10 spoke wheels I purchased on EBay, replaced one of the front driving lights lens that had been broken, got the Thule roofracks installed, b
uilt and installed the base in the rear of the of the cargo area to attach the fringe slide and provide tiedowns for camping boxes.

Went to Nottinghamshire
Took a few pics of the car.
Whilst there nipped into Halfords, and their 4 tonne bottle jacks are reduced from £19.99 to £10.00. Fits where the old jack lives with just a little trimming of the polystyrene.

Not today, but yesterday...
Went to John Craddock's - about 45 miles up the A5 from us - ordered a set of the black canvas seat covers - 2 small kids and a small annoying wife dog means that the seats will get pleantly of wear and tear - and unlike the FFRR this hasn't got the easy clean leather seats. So lashed out the dosh - just have to wait a week or so for delivery.
Thought we'd have a ride out after that - went up to Ironbridge and had a mooch round and a cup of tea, then on to Llangollen and up the horseshoe pass - obligatory cuppa in the Ponderosa.
I always used to take my cars up there as a test drive when I first got them, and with Series Land-Rovers always had a big smile when they finally ground their way to the top and you could get up out of first gear... Modern Land Rovers sort of take some of the fun out of it by making it so effortless to get up there!
Still impressed with the fuel consumption - filled her up last at Sainsbury's in Newhaven (E Sussex) on Wednesday, used it for a bit of toddling around down there, drove home Thursday (nightmare of standing traffic on the M25) and then Wales and back - and she's still got over a 1/4 of a tank left. My FF was down to a quarter of a (larger) tank just after driving home from work in Sussex. I think I could just about get back to Sussex on Tuesday before needed to refuel.
