The trailer is full og and stuck in the garage, so used the D3 to pick up some logs:

Would have meant at least two trips with the trailer, but only one in the D3 - what a beast! Iggy/Ieuan

Drove from my office in Wolverhampton to bigdaves gaff in Coventry, dropped off 4 19" HSE alloys and tyre and a full height dog guard, dropped off, coffee and a chat ( met the much mentioned Mrs BD )
Left Dave loaded with two Defender rims with 750 XPC's fitted to drop them off with Andy (AJS), sadly time and the M25 were against me, so that a job on the return tomorrow
Continued past Reigate to Maidstone services, met a really nice guy Darren off the Def 2 forum and picked up 4 defender rims with 205 Michelins on to bring home, so following a day in the office tomorrow, it's a trip back home
Drove to Hammersmith to find the Novotel has reduced the Carpark entry hight to 1.8m, then spent 20 minutes downloading a parking app to find a local Carpark without hight restrictions... Attended a three hour meeting and drive back to base camp Meriden... Only to fine some had tripped my caravan electrics and the thing was freezing...Mark
Remember its only an obsession....

Tonight i learned my car is only a touch better up motorway hills than a mates 1.3 Yaris.
He was behind me and when the 307cc moved out the way, i sunk the loud pedal. So did he.
I pulled away but it was far from the walkover i would have liked.
I need a bigger cooler and a remap. In loving memory of FA54WSK.
Rest well old friend, your work is done.

Got stuck on salisbury plain
Really stuck
All by myself + kids .the more I tried to get it out the further down in the mud it went
After about an hour or so putting rocks, sticks and anything else I could find under the tyres to give traction but no luck
By know it was about 21.00 and from nowhere a van appeared with two awfully nice chaps inside it,
after two broken 5 ton straps the beast is ripped out of its hole
I was so glade when these guys turned up even more so getting the car out
Lessons learnt
1) get off road tyres
2) take spade
3) don't go on waterlogged grass (check first)
4) don't go alone
5) don't go in the dark
And many more

Thanks Mash
Sorry for the delay In replying. I spent all day Sunday sorting the car out and then back to work yesterday long day and only just got in today and logged on
Today i went with my D3 to the Swedish MOT..
( Checked most of the D3 myself yesterday, Brake pads and so on..)
Passed without any Faults, errors or remarks
Clear Sheet, All OK for Another Year
After that had a nice trip with a RRS Supercharged
just to test the suspension ( Comparing 2x RRS with 20" Rims )
Both was bumpy.. I have a softer ride in my D3 with 18" rims and GG AT2's.
Had a very nice Lunch after that..
Regards

The lower front arms have recently been replaced so today it had a full suspension alignment done. £99 well spent as it now drives better than ever.GAP IID Pro Multi Vehicle Defender L316 2007-2015 - Discovery 3 - Discovery 4 - Discovery Sport L550 - Freelander 2 - Range Rover Evoque L538 - Range Rover L322 - Range Rover L405 - Range Rover Sport L320 - Range Rover Sport L494 Electrical Fault Diagnostics
