Not so much what did I do IN my D3, more like what did I do ON my D3 today
I prepared for the fitment of my expedition roof rack that I am collecting tomorrow. Removed the cross bars, and pre-drilled the trims for the forward mounts.
Early start tomorrow.

Darn - I am falling behind in the accessory stakes...
Either of you going to go for a ladder and/or raised air intake too? Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

I want a ladder. I'm not sure about the intake. Probably will when one comes along at the right price

Let me know how long it takes.
Stu do you mean to drill for the mounts or to fit the rack?
As I'm sure Gareth will testify drilling the mounts takes about 30-40 mins. Fitting the rack takes 10 minutes if there's 2 bod's 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Actually, drilling the mounts took 5 minutes. Finding my 19mm hole cutter took considerably longer
You would not believe the amount of crap that was sitting under the plastic trim strips. I reckon some D3's could get grass growing out of these strips next spring

Saturday night got a phone call from brother inlaw asking if i could help him pick up a three piece sofa that he'd just brought off fleabay for his outside smoking room -
got the three seater and an armchair in the back with all seats flattened - plus the cushions from the other armchair.... he drove home with a stripped armchair and the boot of his Rover flapping in the wind....
Sunday am went bowling with the lads, wife, mother, mother in law
Sunday pm went to the youngest lads school and chopped down a fallen tree in the playground with my chainsaw, loaded the boot with logs and recycled them at the local tip....
Monday - went to Tesco's and sat on my fot the rest of the day - typing.
Tuesday up at 05:00 to sit in the traffic jam on the M40 between junction 10 and 11 for an hour not going anywhere...
thought bo**ox to it (was going to miss my meeting in London anyway) and turned off at junction 9 and came back through some scenic lanes in Oxfordshire.
Tuesday PM gonna stick the hounds in the car and go to the Malvern Hills and do some walking.
I love my D3.
