Manual or Auto Gearbox

Looking to buy my first Disco 3 and wondering if there are any major reasons not to get the manual gearbox over an auto. I would prefer the auto.

Thanks in advance.

I have had both & prefer the Auto, IMO the manual is too high geared in first and especially second.
