Hi folks,
I'm new to the forum, but I'm reading with great interest! I'm trying to get some entertainment going for the kids. I ordered some 7" monitors from Alpine, not knowing that they are too big for the headrests. I also ordered the Alpine KCE-425i with the hopes that I can just plug in my iphone and play videos off that. After seeing the pics of the monitors installed in the seat itself, I want to give this a go. Wondering if someone might be able to send me the info about accessing the back of the seat. I think Wiggs mentioned the leather can be just peeled up? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks to all for the input. I played around with the monitor at the seatback level with my daughter sitting in her car seat, and it looks to be just about eye level. Moreover, I already bought these monitors, so I think I'm just gonna go with it. I'll try to post some pics once its done.

Alpine 425i and iPhone is not good, if you want to use the iPhone as a phone as well. Also it is not in the list of usable iPods - but I think just because of the phone interference.
But I´m quite happy with my iPod classic on the Alpine 425i and if this is used for video, you need plenty of diskspace anyway....
