Hey andi,

Looked fine, havent tried pulling the plugs out of that one yet but if this doesnt work out, i may swap valves over to that head and go with that.

After about 4 hours of swearing and delicate drilling, all three glow plugs are out of the head at last! sending the head in to be skimmed at lunch time today, gaskets and bolts are on theyre way form the UK and should be here friday, so its looking like the disco will be back together before the weekend is out!

Fingers crossed it all goes to plan now!

Now that the pressure is off and im waiting for the head to be skimmed, i said id give ye a look at the disco and an idea of what im planning to do with it!

Heres my other landy towing it down to Limerick from Dublin, Its a Cummins 6bt converted 110, project i did a few years back:

By all accounts, it seems like a motorway miles, very light use commercial van. Body and interior are in great condition, small few blemishes i'll be looking to sort once its up and running:

Air suspension has a slow leak/dodgy height sensor (lowers itself down overnight)

Small scuff on the front bumper, nothing major but ill try sort it.

Buttons have started falling off the radio (is this a regular problem? anyone know where i'd get a 2nd hand head unit?)

Gearstick Gaiter is threadbare, needs to be replaced (anyone know where to get an OEM replacement)

Future plans:

Full length pull out drawer on the floor in the rear

267/70 r17 BFG AT's

Small suspension lift (modified links)

Cruise control

Remap

Decat and center exhaust removal.

After that, we'll see what happens : )
