Fired it up today. Must admit once it got going it was very quick to come to the boil. I believe pine cones make an excellent fuel as well.
I drink a lot of tea so it will be great How sturdy is the top part ? Will it take a small pan ok ?The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

Didn't use it but I'd think a small pan should be fine. Mess tins might be even better. With the speed to took to boil I'm not sure you'd get anything cooked though as I've been told if you boil them dry it will melt. Will give it a go with a tin of beans and see how it goes.D4 MY15 SE TECH
