Let the rebuild begin
Story so far for those that maybe interested.
Picked up a D4 from Charlie on here a few weeks ago as spares or repairs,strip it down last week and can confirm another snapped crankshaft
So made a start
To this engine out on to a stand

Got this ready to start rebuilding it all back up
Rebuilding both heads at the moment no damage to them but want it all new to match the bottom end done one head so far new valves,hyd tappets,valve stem seals,cam chains & cam seals.
Been really busy running up to Christmas so not been able to get on here much lately but thought I'd share this little project with you and will update as and when I can Wanted D4s non runners pm for competitive price.

Plenty of photos please, when I was doing my D3 I used your gallery shots as there was always an angle I missed when taking shots of mine. There are so many little brackets and bits and bobs...............where the he'll does this go, what is this ???????

Iggy I was relying on you as my master tech to put it all back together I'm fine taking it apart but seem to have a lot of bits to bolt back onto that little block Wanted D4s non runners pm for competitive price.
