Cubby box lid - can it be recovered?
Hi,
I finally bought a 2005 D3, and loving it so far!
There are a few things I'd like to sort and one is the cubby box lid has a few nicks in it. It's beige in colour and looking around I can't find a replacement, so I'm wondering is there any way of recovering it?
Has anyone done anything like that - or is there a cover kit - or vinyl wrap perhaps?
Hoping you can help with some ideas.
Thanks
Ian

Ours was trashed, I spent ages looking for a second hand one but in the end ran out of patience and paid £180 for a genuine new one from AF.-------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for the replies, I keep looking on eBay but all I am finding is vinyl wrap. Do you reckon that might be an option?
I think I'll contact Metal Monster Junk and see what they have. Mine is beige (seats are beige with black flecks) is that called Alpaca?
Thanks again.

If you strip the lid down, ie Unscrew the cover bit from the base of the lid, I am sure any good automotive trimmer will recover it for you. The lid itself doesn't come in separate parts from Landrover, they are not cheep.

Leather stick on custom fit covers are available on eBay in Beige. I've been trying to source a genuine Black one for ages.... they seem to be as rare as rocking horse sh#t.
