I plan on eventually installing my kit today
Couple of questions regarding the app, it asks for the Device ID, where do I find this? And secondly under SMS mode it gives a list of options, I have an iPhone 6S so I'm guessing IOS-1 or IOS-2 apply to me, I'm not sure which though?!

I just looked in the help section of the app and it explains how to get the Device ID via text
It's not clear on which SMS setting to use though!

Text the sim number first with
num1:+44yourownmobilenumber
Then text it with
apn1:general.t-mobile.uk,APN2:,APN3: (if using the EE sim)
Any problems, give me a buzz Bodsys Brake Bible

It's in and working 8)
Took me forever as I ran cables all over the place, I put the button in the glovebox, took the 12v feed from my aux battery and obviously ran a cable to the fbh
Out of curiosity, how do I disable GPS?
And another question, is the internal temperature sensor behind the grill by the drivers left knee? I'd like to mount the temp sensor that comes with the kit somewhere so I was thinking about trying to put it with the factory sensor!

Good job there.
To disable GPS Tracking, text tracking0 to the unit.
Yes, the factory sensor is behind the small vent looking grill. You can get to it easier by removing the H-trim. Bodsys Brake Bible

Well.........it was working
I finished it all off after dinner, wired in the led button and the temperature sensor but now it won't run. If I press start on the app it looks like it's running then after about 30 seconds I get a text instantly followed up by the app displaying "start" again.
If I press the led button it lights up red, the fan in the fbh blows but it doesn't actually ignite, then after 30-60- seconds it all stops
Also how do I stop it from texting me without me requesting a status update?!

On the non GSP version is there a "keep sim alive" function? - this is where the unit can be programmed to send a return message at a pre-determined interval of time mainly during summer months when the heater is not used as some SIM cards are cancelled by the provider if they are not used regularly. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Not specifically, no. Each supplier would have different requirements as to what constitutes an in use sim I guess.
I find a simple reminder in the calendar to text it once a month would work.
I think there's apps you can use to schedule text messages but I don't use them.Bodsys Brake Bible

It may be enough to use btimer function that will text the balance (even if the function does not work to actually get the balance with all providers) at least the unit will be sending a text and that may be enough to keep it alive.
Mine is currently set for 10 days but you can change that to less or more as needed. I guess we'll find out in the summer. Bodsys Brake Bible
